Meet the Staff


	Angela Flender is the owner of the Advanced Center and a hair removal specialist. Nationally, Angela is a Certified Medical Electrologist and Laser Hair Removal Professional. This is the highest certification available for laser hair removal. Angela is a licensed electrologist and certified to perform laser through the state of Iowa. Angela has been practicing since 1990, and has successfully treated thousands of clients. She is a member of the International Guild of Hair Removal Specialists and the Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal.
	Gretchen Klein is a Licensed Cosmetologist through the State of Iowa, and certified in Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion. She graduated from Capri College in 2000. Gretchen has also received extended training at the Bioelements Learning Center in Chicago and Advanced training in all aspects of Skin Care. Gretchen is also a member of the National Cosmetology Association.
	Amy Herren is a Nationally Certified (NCTMB) and Iowa licensed massage therapist. She graduated from one of Iowa's only COMTA accredited massage schools, Carlson College of Massage Therapy. In addition to her BFA from Iowa State, she has undergone training at the Bioelements Learning Center. Practicing massage for almost two years she specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Specifics, Prenatal Massage, Chair Massage, Hot Stone Massage, and Body Wraps.
